About the film:

Adam is spending his summer vacation with his parents on rugged Lake Superior. His dull routine is shattered when he befriends Riley and Nate, smart aleck cousins who pass their ample free time with debauchery and reckless cliff jumping. The revelation of a hurtful secret triggers Adam to set in motion a series of irreversible events that test the bonds of friendship and change the boys forever.

Director’s bio:

Andrew Cividino is a writer and director hailing from Toronto. His debut feature film ‘Sleeping Giant’ had its world premiere at Critics’ Week in Cannes and went on to win prizes at TIFF, Munich, and Mumbai. Andrew was a frequent director on the POPTV/CBC series ‘Schitt’s Creek,’ for which he won an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series in 2020. His upcoming limited series ‘Cutblock’ is in development at HBO with Adam McKay’s Hyperobject Industries. He will also be directing a limited series adaptation of Jeff Lemire’s acclaimed graphic novel ‘Essex County’ with CBC and First Generation Films. In addition to directing, Andrew is a co-founder and producer at Film Forge, an independent production company that’s slate includes Brandon Cronenberg’s upcoming feature ‘Infinity Pool.’
