Anna (Anna Sargent making her acting debut), a middle-aged Korean adoptee with a cognitive disability, cares for her aging parents in a fragile balance of meeting one another’s needs. Alongside her sister Emily (Ali Ahn) and her father (Victor Slezak), they must confront challenging questions about the future, but she remains determined to build a life where all of them can thrive.

About The Director

Liz Sargent is a Korean-American adoptee and filmmaker. Her proof of concept, Take Me Home, premiered at Sundance, won the Grand Jury Prize at PROOF Film Festival, and was presented at the White House commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Olmstead Act. The feature won AT&T’s 2025 Untold Stories at Tribeca, premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, where it received the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award, and later had its international premiere at Berlinale.
