About the director:

Jessie Posthumus is an award winning writer and filmmaker currently residing in Toronto, Ontario. She has a special interest in character study, as well as creating new approaches to traditional genres. Her documentaries ‘White Lines’ and ‘Don't Shoot the Dog’ have gone on to appear in festivals in both Canada and the United States, as well as broadcast on TVO and Bell Fibe TV. Her fiction work has received success as well, with her short film ‘We Are Listening’ winning a ‘Best Direction’ award at the 2018 Future of Film Showcase.
